RENTAL POLICIES AND TERMS
RATES:
Tools and Equipment- Our rental rate periods are defined as follows. A "4-hour" rate is for any 4 hour period during our business day or for the period from after 3pm on one day until before 9am the next day. A "day" rate is for any 24 hour period or for the period from after 3pm on Saturday until before 9am on Monday. A "week" rate is for seven calendar days. A half-hour grace period is granted for same day returns and a one hour grace period is granted for next day returns. Allowances may be made for long weekends or specific equipment. We charge for all time out, Sundays and holidays included. You are charged for the time the equipment is in your posession, not the time in use. Remember, if you have it, we can't rent it! All rates are subject to change without notice.
Party Equipment- Party equipment rates are for a daily, one-time "event." Generally, you may have our equipment for up to three days (e.g., Friday to Monday) to facilitate both your preparation and clean-up time and our delivery schedule. We do offer weekly and monthly rates.
IDENTIFICATION: We require a current driver's license and/or vehicle registration. Other identification (such as a major credit card) may be required.
PAYMENT: Payment may be made by cash, an open signed check or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express). We may require an additional cash deposit. Subject to an approved credit application, we will honor commercial charge accounts on "net 30-day" terms.
RESERVATIONS: We will gladly take reservations for equipment so as to guarantee availability. We reserve the right to require a reservation deposit. Please try to give us at least 48 hours notice for any changes to a reservation, especially if it involves party equipment. Any party reservation may be subject to loss of the deposit should cancellation occur within 7 days of the rental date.
DAMAGE WAIVER: Due to the possibility of accidental damage to our equipment and subsequent problems that might arise, we add a fee of 10% of the rental charge to void your responsibility for such damage. In that you are responsible for missing equipment, all damaged items should be returned to us.
DELIVERY AND PICKUP: Our rental rates are based on customer pickup and return. We will assist in loading and unloading your vehicle, but assume no responsibility for damages resulting therefrom. Our delivery charge is determined by the size of your order and the time and distance of travel. The equipment will be placed as agreed and we will expect it to be in the same place on pickup. All equipment must be protected from the weather, especially if damage might occur. An additional charge will be made for other than first-floor delivery and for set-up or knock-down. Arrangements for the same must be made in advance to be guaranteed.
CLEANING: For sanitary reasons, all food related party equipment must be returned clean. Items returned dirty will be subject to a cleaning charge. Every effort should be made to return all other equipment in the same condition as received.
OTHER: If you have a problem with our equipment, you must contact us immediately. Otherwise, we cannot help you or adjust the rental charges. No rentals will be allowed to those under the age of 18. We reserve the right to refuse any rental. All prices are subject to change.
